Since 1991, although some exhibitions are presented in the foyer during theater performances, the museum is not registered officially as a public museum and is not open for excursions. N.B. Most of the archive of the Malyi Theater has been transferred to RGALI (B–7, fond 649). Part of the Malyi Theater documentation and special collections formed the basis for the Central Theater Library (established in the early 1920s), which is now the Russian State Library of the Arts (G–7), and other parts of their theater collections have been transferred to the Bakhrushin Museum (H–86). |
