Working conditions Researchers have access to opisi of all processed fonds, copies of which are housed in the reading room. Orders may be placed for up to 5 opis' and 10 files at one time, which are delivered within 3 working days. Copy facilities Facilities for xerox, photographs, microfilm, and scan are available. Reference facilities The website has an annotated list of all fonds and opisi within some opisi with scanned image at: https://spbarchives.ru/infres/-/archi.... In addition to opisi, researchers have access to systematic, name, and geographic card catalogues, and also a card file on the history of cultural institutions in Petersburg. Researcher access to reference information facilities that are normally for staff use only is possible with the permission of the director. Library facilities Access to the scientific reference library (ca. 10,000 volumes) is possible by permission of the director. |
