History
As of 2001 State Archive for the Affairs of Political Repressions of Perm Oblast was abolished as a separate archive, and its holdings were combined with those of the State Archive of Contemporary History and Social-Political Movements of Perm Oblast. The consolidated repository was renamed: Gosudarstvennyi obshchestvenno-politicheskii arkhiv Permskoi oblasti (GOPAPO) [State Socio-Political Archive of Perm Oblast]. In 2009 archive was renamed Perm State Archive of Contemporary History (PermGANI).
