ArcheoBiblioBase: Archives in Russia: H-73Last update of repository: 12 August 2019Kul'turnyi tsentr “Dom-muzei Mariny Tsvetaevoi”History The museum was opened in 1992 in the house in the Arbat district, where the poetess Marina Ivanovna Tsvetaeva (1892–1941) lived during the years 1914–1922, before her emigration. The museum started under the auspices of the Russian International Cultural Fond, but it has since been registered under the Government of Moscow. There are several other memorial museums honoring Tsvetaeva in the Moscow region, for which visits and research can be arranged through the Tsvetaeva Center. |
