Pushkina (GMP)Access & Facilities Access Research access to the museum archival holdings requires a letter from the sponsoring organization addressed to the Deputy Director for Scientific Research or to the Chief Curator. Working conditions There is one reading room for all divisions of the museum. Research hours are limited, but researchers visiting from out of town may, by way of an exception, request additional appointments on special days to work with manuscript materials. Copy facilities There is a xerox photocopier, but it is mainly used for internal purposes. Materials selected for copying must be approved by the Deputy Director for Scientific Research and the Head of the Division of Fonds. Reproductions from the Photograph Archive can be ordered through an outside vendor. Library facilities There is a reference library with a reading room, in which Pushkin memorabilia are displayed. There are scattered publications on the history of Russia, literary criticism, and reference books. |
