The researcher should accordingly first apply to the main administrative office of the museum before proceeding to any of the divisions. Library facilities The museum library collections (ca. 460,000 vols.), dating from early imprints of the sixteenth century to the present, are held in the Book Fond (https://goslitmuz.ru/collections/363/). There are many books with dedicatory autographs and first editions. For example, the museum retains part of the library of A.I. Herzen and his family, including books with dedicatory autographs by A.I. Herzen, N.P. Ogarev, N.G. Chernyshevskii, and N.I. Turgenev. |
