Gosudarstvennyi muzei istorii GULAGa (GMIG)
History
The museum was established in 2001 and opened in 2004 on Petrovka Street. In 2015 the museum moved into the building on 1st Samotechnyi Lane (pereulok).
The Museum “House on the embankment” (Muzei “Dom na naberezhnoi”, H–7) was attached to the State Museum of the History of GULAG in 2016.
