Among its earliest holdings is the Bible illustrated by V. Koren' (1692–1696). Exhibits and other graphic holdings within the museum fonds, include the work of late eighteeenth- and early nineteenth century artists I.I. Terebenev and A.G. Venetsianov; early twentieth-century lubok of K.S. Malevich, A.V. Lentulov, D.S. Moor (pseud. of D.S. Orlov), and G.I. Narbut, among others; lubok from the 1930s of V. Kulikov and B.M. Kustodiev; as well as more contemporary lubok and other graphic materials in the tradition of popular folk arts. |
