Documentary materials include many of Vasnetsov's personal papers and other documentation relating to his life and work. Most of his preserved correspondence was with officials, painters, prominent figures in the arts world, and relatives. Documentary photographs include pictures of Vasnetsov, members of his family, and some of his works. The museum also retains its own administrative records, which contain documentation on the organization and administration of the museum since its founding. There are also documents pertaining to the building of the house in which the museum is situated. |
