Serebrianyi vek”Holdings The museum, initially based on the personal collection of the director, has brought together considerable memorabilia and documentation relating to Akhmatova, her first husband, Russian poet Nikolai Stepanovich Gumilev (1896–1921), and their son, the well-known historian-Orientalist, Lev Nikolaevich Gumilev (1912–1992). There are some books from their libraries with autographs and marginalia, as well as additional documentation relating to the Silver Age. |
