The division also maintains the photographic fond of the museum: photographs and negatives showing artillery equipment, and engineering and signals technology employed from the sixteenth to the twentieth century. There are diagrams of military operations, portraits of prominent commanders, scholars, technicians, designers, and other prominent historical personages. There are also reproductions of pictures and drawings on military themes, and prints of documents relating to the history of artillery and the engineer and signal corps. Reference facilities: Subject and alphabetic catalogues are available for staff use. |
