Lenin Central Museum, which include the archival materials and scientific and technical documentation from eleven Lenin memorial museums in Leningrad. There are also memoirs and recollections of Lenin and his colleagues in the revolutionary movement, letters from revolutionaries and Communist Party veterans, films, photographs and sound recordings. The museum also holds documentation, including pictorial and photographic materials, relating to the Smol'nyi Institute for daughters of the nobility (Vospitatel'noe obshchestvo blagorodnykh devits), which had occupied the building before 1917. |
