History
The museum was founded in 1985 in the town of Krasnogorsk, west of Moscow, where, starting in 1942, there was a prisoner-of-war camp for German soldiers and, starting in 1943, the Central Anti-Fascist School (Tsentral'naia shkola antifashistov).
