TimiriazevaHoldings The museum retains Timiriazev's scientific archive, library, photographs, and other memorabilia. Of particular importance is Timiriazev's library (ca. 6,000 vols.), including some books with dedicatory autographs and marginalia. Timiriazev's archive (12,000 units) includes manuscripts, scientific and personal correspondence, notebooks, and honorary diplomas, among other documents. The photograph archive (2,500 units) includes scientific photospectograms and artistic landscape photographs by Timiriazev and his son, A.K. Timiriazev, as well as photographs of the scholar and his family. |
