The largest fonds are those of the V.P. Potemkin Moscow City Pedagogical Institute (1933–1960) and the Moscow State Pedagogical Institute (1930–1990). There are also records from the K. Liebknecht Industrial Pedagogical Institute and the State Pedagogical Institute for the Handicapped. N.B. Most of the MPGU records to 1988 have been transferred for permanent storage to TsMAM (now TsAGM, D–1). Some materials continue to be held in the University Archive. Working conditions: The archive is retained in a basement facility, and many of the records have not been processed. Reference facilities: There are opisi, some of which are of poor quality and hence inadequate for reference purposes. Copy facilities: The University has xerox facilities which can be used with permission of the administration. |
