Considerably expands and updates the 1984 guide (e–610.1) to what was then the LGITMiK Cabinet of Archival Fonds. Covers data on 133 fonds and collections—personal fonds, and 8 collections, including a large collection of manuscript and rare printed music scores (mainly from various prerevolutionary collections), a collection of librettos and songs (mainly from the collection of R.M. Rappoport), a large collection of manuscripts and letters of theater personalia and musicians, collections relating to the history of music organizations, and collections of graphic materials, among others. Sixteen of the fonds described were acquired before 1984 but not annotated in the 1984 edition, and an additional 14 were acquired more recently. There is also a list of five fonds acquired recently that are not yet processed.
