The archive was established in 1972. Considerable scientific-technical documentation previously held by LGAORSS was transferred to the new archive, and other materials were acquired from their creating agencies. In 1987 LGANTD became the Central State Archive of Scientific-Technical Documentation (TsGANTD) of Leningrad (from 1991, St. Petersburg). |
