ArcheoBiblioBase: Archives in Russia: C-16Last update of repository: 14 March 2020Rossiiskii federal'nyi geologicheskii fond (Rosgeolfond)Holdings Rosgeolfond is responsible for the subject-oriented collection of documentation on geological research, and especially mineral deposits, located throughout the territory of the former USSR. Its holdings date from the early eighteenth century to the present. The Rosgeofond archival repository retains specialized data on the development of geology and geological surveys in Russia and the former Soviet Union. Here are concentrated all materials from geological (including hydrogeological) prospecting, surveys, engineering, and analyses, irrespective of the time or location of the work. Data is also collected on usable reserves by location and output appraisals from excavations (including reports on geological expeditions, maps, reports of commissions, and special scientific works). |
