There are pictorial and graphic works of V.I. Perov, N.I. Ge, M.A. Vrubel', A.N. Benua, B.M. Kustodiev, K.S. Petrov-Vodkin, M.S. Sar'ian, B.F. Shaliapin; stage design works of K.A. Korovin, I.Ia. Bilibin, V.A. Serov, N.K. Rerikh, A.Ia. Golovin, among others. The museum contains negatives and photographic prints of Russian and Soviet composers, conductors, music critics, and teachers. There are photographic portraits of composers such as S.V. Rakhmaninov, S.I. Taneev, and D.D. Shostakovich. Many of the photographs depict scenes in major theaters from productions featuring such prominent singers and soloists as L.V. Sobinov and F.I. Chaliapin (Shaliapin). There are also photographs of students and teachers from the Moscow Conservatory. |
