Atasheva, has been administered by the Museum of Cinema since 1992. The so-called Scientific-Memorial Cabinet, which includes Eisenstein’s working study, exhibits many of Eisenstein—â¢s personal effects and memorabilia, along with copies of photographs, drawings, and other documents. Of particular importance in terms of archival quality materials is Eisenstein’s personal library, with over 4,000 books in four languages, which include significant marginalia and inserted manuscript notes and enclosures prepared by Eisenstein himself. N.B. Most of Eisenstein’s personal papers are now held by RGALI (B–7), but archival copies of his films and related archival materials are held by Gosfil'mofond (C–16). |
