Graphic materials include stage and costume designs, along with many illustrative materials from Soviet theaters. Of relatively recent acquisition is the collection of iconographic materials on the history of theater costumes, which were donated by the artist and costume designer N.B. Glinskii. There are photographs and albums made by the French theater photographer Serge Lido, including a collection of ballet photographs from France and other countries, which was donated by his widow Irina Lidova. Reference facilities: An annotated card catalogue has been prepared with over 400,000 cards. |
