These include minutes and stenograms of the meetings, conferences, and discussion held by the Society, as well as performances by G.A. Tovstonogov, N.K. Cherkasov, and N.P. Akimov, among others. There are also factual dossiers about St. Petersburg theaters and theater productions, theater programs, and biographical materials relating to distinguished actors and stage directors of St. Peterburg theaters, among other materials. Documentary collections have been formed of press-clippings by the most prominent theater critics of St. Petersburg, such as M.O. Iankovskii, S.L. Tsimbal, and V.A. Sakhnovskii. Working conditions: Materials are delivered to the reading room the same day they are ordered. Reference facilities: There are reference card catalogues of theater premieres, “Theater Life in St. Petersburg,” “Honorary Titles,” names of theater personalities, and other materials. Copy facilities: Limited xerox copies can be ordered. |
