There are scattered documents from official sources relating to the history of the University; manuscript scientific works on physical education and on medical and trainer supervision in physical education and sport. Documents of personal origin include diplomas, certificates, memorial addresses, and letters. Of special interest are manuscripts and other archival material on the life and work of P.F. Lesgaft. Among graphic materials are programs and posters announcing sports events, and graphic sheets on sports themes. A large collection of photographs and photo albums includes pictures relating to the history of sports in Russia and featuring graduates of the University. Working conditions: Researchers are received in a working office, where materials are available soon after order. Reference facilities: There are inventory opisi and a catalogue for all of fonds. |
