There are a number of personal papers of Soviet scholars in the field of the history of science and technology. These include fonds of the historian of mathematics and mechanics I.N. Veselovskii (1892–1977), the historian of biology S.L. Sobol' (1893–1960), the historian of chemistry G.V. Bykov (1914–1982), the historian of physics O.A. Starosel'skaia-Nikitina (1895–1969), and the historian of mathematics and astronomy L.E. Maistrov (1920–1982), among others. Reference facilities: Reference facilities are lacking. Only part of the fonds have been processed and described, so that opisi are not available for some of the materials. |
