Among them there are the State Physico-Technical Institute of Radiology [Röntgenology] (1918–1931), the Consortium of Physical and Technical Institutes (1924–1933), the A.F. Ioffe Physico-Technical Institute (FTI, 1930–1993), the Institute of Semi-Conductors of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR (IPAN, 1951–1972), the Special Construction Design Office IPAN-FTI (1956–1993), and the “Fizintekh” Company (1990–1993). Artsimovich, G.A. Grinberg, E.F. Gross, P.P. Kobeko, Iu.B.Kobzarev, and B.P. Konstantinov. The archive also retains the personal papers of physicist A.P. Grinberg (1910–1985).

N.B. Materials from the office of the so-called Individual Group of Academician A.F. Ioffe and his laboratory, and the subsequent Institute of Semi-Conductors of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR (through 1952) are retained in the St. Petersburg Branch of the Archive of the Russian Academy of Sciences (PFA RAN, E–25, fond 852; electronically: http://isaran.ru/isaran/isaran.php?pa...).
