The memorial holdings include original documents, P.L. Kapita personal fond (http://kapitza.ras.ru/museum/funds.htm, 332 files, 1921–1993), photographic materials and albums, and sound recordings of gold-medal award ceremonies. Kapitsa’s personal library, also held in the museum, includes many books with dedicatory autographs of well-known scientists and cultural personalia. Many of Kapitsa’s personal papers have been deposited in the Archive of the Academy (ARAN—E-1, fond 2197; electronically: http://isaran.ru/isaran/isaran.php?pa...). Working conditions: Researchers are received in the working offices of the museum. Reference facilities: A card file of manuscripts has been compiled. |
