Working conditions Advance orders are required for files in the reading room. The reading room has 10 individual places for users for work. Copy facilities Photographic and xerox copies can be prepared. Orders for photographic copies are delivered within one month after the day of payment. There are no facilities for reproducing films and sound recordings. Reference facilities Documents are arranged not by fonds or collections, but by type and subject. There are systematic, name, and geographic catalogues which have subject and author indexes (for example, manufacturing enterprises, agriculture, renamed streets, participants in World War II), and separate listings for such photo-journalists as N. Naumenkov, P.S. Zhukov, D. Trakhtenberg, and N. Ianov. The list of photographs and photo albums is available electronically at: https://spbarchives.ru/infres/-/archi.... The viewing of electronic images of documents posted on the website is available on a fee basis only for registered users. Library facilities Researchers have full access to the scientific reference library (ca. 5,000 volumes). |
