Most of the archival materials earlier held by the library have been transferred to other institutions as described above; nevertheless, significant materials of importance remain.
        Most extensive in terms of archival holdings in the library are graphic materials, which include historical materials relating to the Court Orchestra and the St. Petersburg Philharmonic. Among these is a collection of programs of concerts of the Russian Music Society, the Philharmonic, and the Pavlovsk Railroad Station Orchestra, among others. There are also various albums, prints and engravings, Philharmonic billboard posters, reproductions of pictures, postcards, photographs, and portraits of music personalities, as well as a collection of press clippings relating to the history of Russian music and to individual composers and musicians.
