1 collection

The Division of Graphic Arts and Drawings possesses a rich collection of drawings and other graphic material by West European, Oriental, and American artists, and a similar collection of Russian and Soviet graphics. The original basis of its holdings, as mentioned above, came from the Engravings Cabinet (Graviurnyi kabinet) of the prerevolutionary Rumianstev Museum. Strictly speaking, most of its holdings would not be considered archival materials, and hence a survey is not provided here.

Working conditions:
Advance arrangements must be made with the curator of the fond regarding research.

Reference facilities:
The division has alphabetic and systematic catalogues, and card catalogues for some of the holdings.
