A guide to places of interest in Gatchina and the surrounding region. Contains a detailed history of the park and palace ensemble and of the town of Gatchina.

The exceedingly brief guide describes the prewar collections, parts of which were destroyed or lost during the war. The postwar 1952 publication includes some of the same illustrations and relates wartime losses, but it was prepared before the palace was restored as a museum.
