Access to documentation in the Division of Scientific Reference Service requires a formal letter of request addressed to the director of the museum. Library facilities The museum library (over 5,500 volumes) includes a small quantity of unpublished typescript memoirs of participants in the war and some manuscript diaries from the wartime period, all of which are open for consultation in the reading room.
